Sizing
Getting the right size is the key to press-on nails that look natural, feel comfortable, and last longer. Follow the steps below to find your perfect fit before ordering your set.
Option 1: Measure Your Nails (Recommended)
What you’ll need:
- A soft measuring tape or a strip of paper
- A pen
- A ruler (millimetres)
Step 1
Place the measuring tape or paper strip across the widest part of your natural nail sidewall to sidewall (this is called the IC).
Step 2
If using paper, mark where each side of the nail ends.
Step 3
Measure the distance in millimetres (mm) with a ruler.
Step 4
Repeat this for all nails on one hand.
Step 5
Compare sizes to the Apres Gel X Tip Size Chart shown below so you can figure out the number size of each nail in the shape/length of the press ons you would like to purchase.
💡 Tip: If you are between sizes, choose the slightly larger size and gently file the sides for a perfect fit.
Option 2: Use a Sizing Kit
The most accurate way to size your nails is by using a Gellyfish Sizing Kit.
